That’s because the left want’s something for free without having to work for it. They just assume tax you and I a little bit more to pay for their benefits.

Ask them, it’s hard getting up in the morning and going to work.

Why did Obama, the House of Representatives and the Senate all exempt themselves from these health care bills? Shouldn’t they lead by example and drop their private health insurance plans?

Exempting yourself from your own bill speaks volumes as to your integrity.

@CDubSD Give your head a shake, man. Insurance companies have doctors on staff whose job it is to find reasons to deny coverage. They also reject coverage for “pre-existing conditions”. Is this not “rationing” health care? Health care is an essential service. You cannot apply free-market principles to what is, in fact, a captive market. BTW, my public insurance provider is not allowed to deny care, whether my premiums are up to date or not. Turn off Fox “news” and go read a book.

    I don’t want Health Insurance for myself…
……..I will fight any Mandate that would force me to buy into the inefficient system spelled out in the HC senate mandate..
………I say–fix it–make it affordable & attractive enough for me to want to buy it..
………Rather than, buy this crap so we can keep piling on till you suffocte under its weight & intrusiveness…
The best we have falls far too short of being affordable in this economy to most all americans..

    Nice video.

ALL our industrial peers have health ins., with one thing in common: basic insurance is on a NON-PROFIT basis, with low or NO co-pays, @ low monthly cost.

PLEASE Google your Senator & Rep and email them. Tell them we want what our peers have, health ins at reasonable cost, on a NON-PROFIT basis! NO GIVEAWAYS to BIG PHARMA and INSURANCE COMPANIES. Thanks!

Take a look at the rebuttal by HTWW and you’ll realize that, by you actually supporting and agree with this video, you’re the idiot. I was actually going to respond to this video but HTWW did an impeccable job, so no need.

You’re confusing efficiency with cost. Just because something cost less does not make it efficient. I’d rather pay more for quality health care than pay less for government run, bureaucratic care that will ration care and provide less quality service.

CEO’s work hard to make their companies profitable. They bring a service at a price that people CHOOSE to pay because of competition with other companies.

I can’t understand why most people on the left can’t comprehend economics.

The lefts Big Government Health Care power grab, American citizens will be nothing more than a dehumanized statistic — a number on a piece of paper.
So those federal bureaucrats wont be making their decisions on what health care you and your family receive based on what you and your doctor decide is best — they will decide what is best for you.
I dont know about you, but that sends shivers up my spine.

if America had a free market healthcare system your comment would have validity, but its not, its a monopolized fascist system that is regulated in nearly every aspect. Also, the inflation has a significant impact on the rising healthcare costs.
you clearly have no sense of morality and economic logic because allowing government to run any industry is not only a violent imposition of oppression but also is a terrible failure economically.

It does not work great in Canda and the UK?

    What is that based on?

Both countries’ health care systems have excellent satisfaction rates compared to the US.

Also, Canada and UK have totally different systems.

Canada has socialized health insurance. Health care is still delivered in the private sector.

UK has socialized medicine (NHS) where doctors and hospitals work for the government.

  • kekemankek:

“The government can do NOTHING better than what the voluntary(private) sector can do. ”

Well, when it comes to health care, it can do it better since it can do it more efficiently, which is simply a fact. In the US, 31 cents out of every dollar spent on health care goes to administrative fees. In Canada where they have socialized health insurance, it’s 1.3 cents. There’s no CEOs taking million dollar bonuses in between…

But keep on fighting against your own best interests, the American way.

“if you studied economics you would know socialism cannot work”

wow…this is just such a *facepalm* comment. Arrogance+ignorance=fail.

How do you explain wealthy countries like those in Scandinavia that are much more socialist than USA yet are constantly being rated the best places to live, have happier people, and – you guessed it – have much better health care systems (more efficient as in they only spend about 8% of their GDP on HC while for US its 16%, everyone is covered, healthier ppl)

I agree with your premise. You are correct, and I am a single payer advocate working to pass HR 676. Great video. Even idiots could understand it. Well upon viewing some of the comments…..maybe not.
Keep up the good work that you do.

Hey Obob. There is NO association or analogy that can be made between auto & HC..
    This was the Ultimate Lie:
With Auto Ins, there is a min req’d competency test to acquire the ability to use an item that may cause harm..
If a “drunk driver” Kills an old lady w/his car his license is pulled & his ins is cancelled “”SO HE IS NOT MIXED IN YOUR INSURANCE POOL”-THIS is a good thing!
Otherwise, you’d be paying $40,000 PER YR for his liability in your pool..
If HC Keeps this guy in it You LOSE.

the public option means the government will set up an insurance company that you can BUY insurance from at a lower cost than a private company would charge
the hope is that insurance will go down when revenues are increased because so many more will be carrying it.
funny auto didn’t go down but maybe it will be different this time NOT

  • o0lBobl0o:

    Create a video blog

    this is a misleading video
    We already have universal auto
    everybody must carry auto
    you don’t get it free
the govt doesn’t pay for it
you are required to buy it or get fined
haven’t any of you asked yourself why they are debating the fine you will have to pay for not having insurance if taxes pay for it?

Nobody wants that 3000 page pile of crap served up by a dumbo eared freak that thinks he is an econimist, a doctor, an environmentalist, a teacher….
He’s just a community organizer that won a default vote & campaigned on NO HEALTH CARE MANDATE!
Go to youtube & search “pelosi go to jail” & see first video where oblamadon in pres debate with hillary discusses HOW RIDICULOUS a HC Mandate would be..
    Now look at him!!!
He’s no liar,,,,,He just mis-speaks—like the bosnian bullet dodger hillary
